What were your dominant styles of learning, according to the Edutopia quiz? Do you agree with the results? Why or why not? Give at least one example of how you learn to illustrate your answer. How will taking an online class be different than attending a class in a classroom, for your particular style of learning?
I mostly learn from a logical and mathematical stand point, At least that is what the quiz said. Musical was my weakest. I agree with the test. I like things direct and to the point. I like to trouble shoot problem. I build and install cabinets for a living. sometime things just don't go together right. it is my job to figure out the best way to solve the problem, quickly and inexpensively. which is not always an easy task. I think taking an online class is much harder then doing class room work. It seems that you never set aside the time you need for the online class but you always make it to class. sometime the assignment are not as clear as you would get in class. Per my learning style i find them much harder. I like to engage in conversation with me instructor and peers when i do not understand something. ask question and trouble shoot. it is much harder to do so via email.
